Equine

We spec our Equine fencing projects to keep your horses safe from harm. Using poor materials or an incorrect specification could lead to horses breaking free from their paddocks and potentially injuring themselves in the process. Whether you need to divide up existing paddocks or build a completely new set of Stallion pens at a stud we can spec the right fencing for you.

Post and rail is a very popular choice. It’s very strong and can follow pleasing undulations and corners. We can spec post and rail fencing that will be suitable for Shetland Ponies all the way up to thoroughbred stallion paddocks.

Equine High Tensile Netting is fantastic as it is incredibly durable, strong and quick to erect. It has been designed to be strong enough to resist an impact from a horse moving at speed (without breaking), it is also designed with holes in the netting that are smaller than a horses hoof, preventing them from getting their feet stuck in normal stock fencing. Horse netting can be added to post and rail to make a very strong fence that you can use for horses, sheep and even Alpacas.

Electric fencing is a cost effective way of breaking up paddocks. There are temporary and Permanent versions. Temporary are designed to be moved around a constantly evolving grazing system. Permanent systems are for established grazing set ups with a mains electric feed to them. We can add electric wires to post and rail fences and to Horse netting.

Stud rail fencing is a relatively new fence. Its quick to put up, pleasing to the eye and will remain as a low maintenance fence for many years. There’s also an electrified version if needed.
